The Himalayan communities are distinctive in their practices and customs but primarily draw their reverence from nature; their civilizations have survived many social and economic calamities by harnessing the natural world around them. The emergence of an artificial world has led to the eradication of indigenous awareness. The purpose of documentary storytelling is to create an archive of records of an epoch that is nearing its extinction.
